International Insolvency Law Conference 2010
The Insolvency and Corporate Law Research Group at Nottingham Law School is hosting an international insolvency law conference to be held at the City site of Nottingham Trent University on Wednesday, 15 September 2010. The date of the conference coincides with the 2nd anniversary of the Lehman Bros bankruptcy in the US and the presiding judge in that case, the Honourable James M. Peck (US Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York), has agreed to participate in the conference programme.

Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2010
The Insolvency & Rescue Awards 2010 anouncement of winners and award ceremony will take place on 21 October 2010 at the Lancaster Hotel, London. Nominations for the awards must be submitted by 30 July 2010. Further details can be obtained here.

ILA Annual Lecture and Dinner
The President of the Insolvency Lawyers' Association requests the pleasure of your company at the Annual Dinner of the Association, which will be held at the stunning venue of The Natural History Museum, Cromwell Road, London SW7 5BD on Wednesday, 10th November 2010.
Professor Sarah Worthington QC of the London School of Economics has agreed to give the pre-dinner lecture at 6.30pm.
The event will proceed as follows:
6.30pm - pre-dinner lecture
7.15pm - pre-dinner drinks in the Earth Galleries
8.00pm - dinner in the Central Hall
11.30pm - bar closes
11.45pm - carriages.
If you would like to attend, please complete the application form and send it with a cheque made payable to the Insolvency Lawyers' Association to Tessa Bartley at the ILA c/o Clifford Chance LLP, 10 Upper Bank Street, London E14 5JJ by 22 October 2010. The ticket price is £1,950 plus VAT for a table of 10 or individual tickets at £195 plus VAT (the cost having been frozen at last year's prices).
